hey, i'm playing a videogame. whatta rush. i move north through a corridor. i find a room. there's a turtle in it! i try talking to the turtle. it says, "nice day". i agree with the turtle. it moves away. i give gold to the turtle. it refuses! it's not so cheap. it moves away. i move away. we're on opposite corners of the room now. it says, "if you've a magic token, go to level 41". ah, a clue. an offer of peace. finally we're friends. i move closer to the turtle. it rotates to face me. i give it an egg. it accepts! "eggs are my favourite." i give it a plaster statue of a horse. it refuses but says "d-don't think you can get me like that!" the stammer is a clue. i offer it another egg. "it's too many. i'm dying." quickly i apply medicine herb. "thank you. if you want to buy weapons you can come to my store." the turtle becomes a tiny house shaped like a turtleshell. i climb inside and the turtle is there behind a desk. the shelf behind says KNIFE 100 PKNIFE 140 BKNIFE 3400. i interact with the turtle. "sigh! business is slow." it's true intimacy, an oasis in the desert! eventually i leave, pledging never to forget. who knew that a world of mystery and imagination was so close, right inside my computer. remembering the turtle's words i head to level 41. a wolfman attacks me and kills me utterly in one hit.
sometimes het is gay because the boy & girl are so gay that in order to be gay they have to be straight, which is gay for gay people
PRINCESS POFFIN AND THE SPIDER INVASION is a tiny adventure game made in one week for GAMES MADE QVIIK. the moth kingdom has been covered in spiderwebs! it's up to poffin to find the spider responsible, and restore her kingdom to its former web-free glory!
i made a game in GB studio!! it was my first time finishing something in this engine (i tried making a trick one before but it didn't get very far cuz doing the music was too difficult haha) but omg it was really fun and easy to use, very similar to rpgmaker! had a ton of fun working within the limitations of being playable on gameboy!!!!
it's a very small game, it only takes 10-20 minutes to see everything. poffin is a character i first designed nearly 10 years ago now, so i'm glad she finally has her own game!! enjoy~
